From 5-18-16 episode of The Rob Zicari Show LIVE 10-1pm M-F
The Senate recently passed a bill that would allow families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia for their complicity in the attacks. President Barack Hussein Obama has promised to veto it. House Speaker Paul Ryan also opposes the bill.
The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act would let families of those killed in terror attacks go after governments that aided the perpetrators. The Saudi government has threatened to sell $750 billion in U.S. assets should the bill become law. So not only does Saudi Arabia assist men who hijack our airplanes and fly them into our buildings, they engage in financial terrorism and extortion as well. They are willing to wreak havoc on the world’s economy and lose billions because they don’t want to answer to the families of people who were killed in attacks they were responsible for. Disgusting.
We can’t allow Barack Hussein Obama the opportunity to deny justice to the families of people murdered in the most horrifying way possible. There can’t be a worse scenario than standing on a ledge with the choice of being burned alive or plummeting to your death. Remember, the majority of the hijackers were born and raised in Saudi Arabia. They had help from Saudis living here in California. And the President of the United States is going to deny their victims justice? That Eddie Munster-looking scumbag Paul Ryan is going to back his play? Are you kidding me?
The rationale for vetoing the bill makes no sense. Obama said, “If we open up the possibility that individuals in the United States can routinely start suing other governments, then we are also opening up the United States to being continually sued by individuals in other countries.”
Sue the U.S.? For what? Do we fly planes into buildings? John McCain and Lindsey Graham say the bill insults Saudi Arabia and puts our relationship with an important ally in the Middle East in jeopardy. So what? What does Saudi Arabia do for us anyway? We don’t need their oil anymore thanks to fracking, and we do all the work in fighting ISIS. We’re the ones who do all the heavy lifting. What the hell does Saudi Arabia do?
Saudi Arabia does nothing for us. Try to come up with a list. You can’t.
Paul Ryan, John McCain and other establishment Republicans don’t understand the appeal of someone like Donald Trump and why nationalism has gained a foothold. People are tired of having our country kowtow to other governments at our own expense. Our country should come first. This notion that thousands of family members of 9/11 victims can’t get justice because we don’t want to piss off the Saudi royal family is preposterous.
Whether 9/11 or the San Bernardino shooting, every act of terrorism against Americans seems to lead back to Saudi Arabia. Have you noticed that? It’s like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon with a body count. Everything has a connection to the Saudis.
Don’t let this get by you all. Don’t let Barack Hussein Obama and Eddie Munster Ryan give Saudi Arabia a pass.
