From 6-15-16 episode of The Rob Zicari Show LIVE 10-1pm M-F
Seems like the left will do anything to divert attention from the real cause of the attack in Orlando.
We had a horrific shooting that was the worst terror attack since 9/11. Since then, the media has been on fire trying to shift the focus away from radical Islam. They have been working with Democrats and the White House trying to maneuver the conversation away from the Muslim perpetrator’s true motive. It’s about repressed homosexuality, it’s about anti-gay bigotry, it’s about assault weapons. It’s about everything but Islamic terror.
Hell, Obama gave a speech Tuesday and was so angry. Not about terrorism or radical Islam, but at Donald Trump. He’s mad at Trump and others who demand that he address the problem by its name – radical Islam.
So the media has been working overtime. Anderson Cooper has been on the scene in Orlando interviewing witnesses and victim’s families. One of the interviews was with the attorney general of Florida. Her name is Pam Bondi.
Pam Bondi is not the governor. She works for the governor and the people of Florida. Anderson did an interview to discuss the attacks. Bondi praised Cooper for highlighting the names of the victims on his show the previous night.
Anderson responded with this:
“I saw you the other day saying that anyone who attacks the LGBT community—our LGBT community, you said—will be gone after to the full extent of the law. I talked to a lot of gay and lesbian people here yesterday who are not fans of yours and said that they thought you were being a hypocrite, that you for years have fought—you’ve basically gone after gay people, said that in court that gay people simply by fighting for marriage equality were trying to do harm to the people of Florida.”
“Do you really think you’re a champion of the gay community?”
Wow. This floored me. Anderson continued to press Bondi about the case her office argued for the State of Florida involving gay marriage. (This was before the SCOTUS ruling that legalized same-sex marriage.) It had absolutely nothing to do with the slaughter at Pulse Orlando. It was as if Cooper was blaming the attorney general for the radical Islamic animal who gunned down 49 people.
Talk about exploitive. People have been criticizing Donald Trump for a tweet he made after the attacks. Saying he was exploiting the tragedy to pat himself on the back for being right. Anderson Cooper grilled the attorney general simply for doing her job. Pam Bondi works on behalf of the people of Florida and the governor. When the governor or the legislature presents her with a case, it’s her job to litigate it. The attorney general doesn’t take on cases according to her own personal whims.
Anderson Cooper is gay. I get it. But really? Is he speaking for all the gay people in Florida? He won’t talk about radical Islam being responsible for 49 mostly gay people being murdered, even though places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, etc. murder gay people every day. Gays are flogged, hanged, stoned and thrown off buildings all throughout the Middle East, but somehow Pam Bondi is at fault because she enforced a constitutional provision in her state against gay marriage.
What does gay marriage have to do with Omar Mateen taking a semi-automatic rifle and mowing down 49 people in a nightclub? That’s a monster leap, not to mention Pam Bondi had nothing to do with same-sex marriage being illegal. The people of the State of Florida voted. No gay marriage. I’m not saying they’re right, but the people of Florida voted and said no gay marriage. As the battle raged, Pam Bondi had to argue for the state why the same-sex marriage ban should remain. What was she supposed to do? Refuse the case? She would have been fired and someone else would have argued it.
Anderson Cooper, are you holding Pam Bondi to a higher standard than you do Hillary Clinton or President Obama? Cooper has never pressed Obama on doing business with regimes that execute homosexuals. He’s never questioned Hillary on taking donations from countries that put gay people to death. He’s never done that, and Hillary can refuse money from Saudi Arabia. But Pam Bondi can’t refuse to do her job. Her job is to win cases for the State of Florida, regardless of whether she agrees with them or not.
When Hillary Clinton was a young lawyer, she got a child rapist off. She helped free a man who raped a 12-year-old girl. The low information voters, who are just about all Democrats, don’t know about it. When the topic does come up, Anderson Cooper and other supporters will say, “She was a lawyer. It was her job. She was doing what she was supposed to do.” But many years later, Pam Bondi is worse than a terrorist. She’s worse than the terrorist’s wife, who knew what was going on and didn’t say anything.
It’s amazing and appalling watching Democrats and their media cohorts maneuver around Islam’s treatment of homosexuals. It’s something that the press, the White House and liberals never talk about. When it is debated, they say only a very small minority engage in such practices as throwing gay people off of rooftops and other barbaric methods of torturing and killing them. They say the rest of the Muslims are peaceful, fun-loving and wouldn’t hurt a fly. But that’s BS. Countries where Sharia is the law of the land put homosexuals to death. It’s not just ISIS. Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and a host of other countries kill gay people. You can’t be gay in Iran. They will put a rope around your neck and hoist you up on a crane and strangle you to death.
Anderson Cooper doesn’t go after his fellow Democrats for dealing with countries who say homosexuality is punishable by death, but he goes after Pam Bondi for doing her job. Then he blames her for the Orlando shooting, saying that the rhetoric that her and her office used in court is to blame for the massacre. He says her words in court will influence somebody who hates gays to pick up an assault rifle and murder them. It’s insane. It wasn’t what she said in court that killed 49 people, it was the ideology that Omar Mateen followed, along with hundreds of millions of other Muslims.
Sharia law is real. Of the 1.2 billion Muslims living around the world, more than half practice Sharia law and want it mandated by the government. That’s over 500 million people who think women are property and homosexuals should be put to death. That’s why Omar Mateen did what he did. It wasn’t because of Pam Bondi.
Democrats, the media and the White House are desperately trying to paint this case as a repressed homosexual who was tortured by his sexuality, so he got a gun and killed a club full of gay people. It’s a hate crime. That’s it. Forget about the fact that this guy had previously been under investigation for promoting terrorism and associating with suicide bombers. Forget that he pledged his allegiance to ISIS while he was carrying out the slaughter.
This wasn’t just a hate crime. Anderson Cooper and everybody on the left are doing everything they can to avoid calling this Islamic terror. Instead, Cooper castigates a lawyer for doing her job and blames her for killing 49 people. It’s funny, I actually felt empathy for Cooper when he was reading the names of those murdered and his voice trembled as if he might break down crying. Then the next day he pulls this crap and all my good feelings went right out the window. Anderson Cooper is a bad man. But this is what we have to deal with because the left controls the media.
We are doomed.
